Although quite remote, the cottage is only 15 minutes from the centre of Sheffield, where you'll find a Waitrose and Sainsburys. Ecclesall road offers a wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

Closer to home you'll find a good selection of shops at Fox Valley in Stocksbridge and a co op, bakery, fish 'n' chip shop, bakery, pharmacy, coffee shop and hardware store in Oughtibridge.

Head to Cannon Hall or Wortley farm shop for delicious local produce. Wortley Hall has great walks and is close to the Trans Pennine Trail which is great or a nice walk or bike ride.
